Vaccines for health care personnel

Dental personnel should be vaccinated against hepatitis B, influenza every year, measles, mumps and rubella, varicella and Tdap, with COVID-19 per current guidance. The hepatitis B series is three doses at 0, 1 and 6 months. An anti-HBs test 1-2 months after the last dose showing at least 10 mIU/mL confirms protection, and confirmed responders need no boosters.
